This Areca Palm Leaf Small Party Plate provides a non-toxic and eco-friendly alternative to disposable plastic tableware. Each piece is unique in texture, colour and pattern and can be composted at home to help reduce waste. Well suited to a variety of special events and occasions ranging from parties, functions and celebrations through to festivals or camping. 

 

Sustainably manufactured in India, a leaf falls down from the Palm Tree where it is collected, washed, cleaned and then steam pressed into a mold. 100% bio-degradable and compostable, the Areca Palm Leaf range of eco friendly tableware will easily break down in soil and does not require commercial composting facilities. Once buried these eco friendly party plates will compost naturally within 6 to 12 weeks.

How to Use Palm Leaf

Palm leaf tableware is leak proof and able to withstand both hot and cold temperatures. Pre-prepared items can be frozen and refrigerated or heated in the microwave for up to 2 minutes and up to 45 minutes at 180 degrees in the oven. It is recommended to have them at least 6" inches away from the heat source.
